Carries out decisions of the Board of Directors to which she is responsible. Presides Board meetings. Approves all material sent to entire membership. Member of all committees (except Nominations). Responsible for the overall running of the Association.

Oversees organization and running of AAWE Office (staff, files and purchase of equipment/supplies). Chairs the Charitable Proceeds Committee.

Jennifer Hua
Treasurer, Jennifer Hua
Maintains accounts for all AAWE receipts and expenditures, pays bills and taxes. Researches tax, accounting and financial questions. Prepares monthly and annual financial reports and yearly budget. Oversees bank accounts and investments.

Jill Clément

Responsible for planning and scheduling the major social events of AAWE (Christmas cocktail, New Member Open House, June Garden Party).

Rosemary Cheylus

Processes candidates for AAWE membership from inquiry stage onwards. Prepares new member biographies for the AAWE News.

Takes minutes at Board and Executive Board meetings. Keeps attendance chart at Board meetings.

Michelle Parker
FAWCO Representative, Michelle Parker
Serves as liaison between AAWE and FAWCO. Processes applications for FAWCO scholarships/awards and FAWCO Foundation education awards and development grants. Publicizes FAWCO activities. Attends FAWCO Conference.

Initiates and maintains contacts with general public and media to promote AAWE. Liaises with other community associations. Responsible for AAWE public relations collateral.

Pamela Combastet
Nominations, Pamela Combastet
Leads Nomination Committee which proposes a slate of candidates for the elected Board positions. Introduces the candidates to the membership. Organizes the Annual General Meeting and Election event.
