Earth Day Conversation – 22 April 2022 – The Three S’s of Climate Change: Simple, Serious, and Solvable:

April 22 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm UTC+1

Featuring A. Scott Denning
Friday 22 April via Zoom at 19h30 . Signup here.

Scott Denning is Monfort Professor of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University. He is author of over 100 publications in peer-reviewed climate literature, a former editor of the Journal of Climate, and founding Science Chair of the North American Carbon Program. He has served on advisory panels for NASA, NOAA, the US Department of Energy, and the National Science Foundation. In an engaging and easy-to-understand style, Scott Denning explains 1. The reasons for climate change, which are simple and easy to demonstrate; 2. Why it’s also extremely serious the more we acknowledge the massive consequences of even a few degrees average warming; and finally, 3. How solvable this crisis is. But do we have the moral courage to act?  Join us for this talk and Q&A to commemorate Earth Day. Sponsored by ACP’s Creation Care Task Force. Good for the entire family.
