Regular membership is open to women who are US citizens by birth or naturalization and who are or have been married to or living with a citizen of a European country. Although AAWE members are mostly American women with European partners, Associate membership is open to other American women, English-speaking women of other nationalities and, on an exceptional basis, to men who find that the AAWE community matches their interests. Membership: Approx. 600 members (92% US Citizens, 8% Associates)
Annual dues: 85 € plus a one-time 15 € registration fee. Membership runs from June to May. Fees are pro-rated for members who join later in the year.
AAWE members are automatically members of FAWCO, the Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas.
