Membership Information

Regular membership is open to women who are U.S. citizens by birth or naturalization and who are or have been married to or living maritally with a citizen of a European country. A limited number of associate memberships are open.

Founded: 1961

Membership: 600 members (92% US Citizens, 8% Associates)

Annual dues: 85€ plus a one-time 15€ registration fee.
Legally registered with the French government under the loi de 1901.

Elections: April/May - with new board taking over in June.
Most officers serve two-year terms.

AAWE members are automatically given membership to FAWCO, the Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas.
